Job Description

As a QA Automation Engineer on the Frontend team, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, design, and architecture of our test case execution framework and the test cases it includes.

You will be part of a team consisting of Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, and Designers, where you will work on creating new functionality for our user interface and frontend features. You will report to the Frontend Team Lead.

Your main focus will be building test suites and automating them with Cypress to manage player actions across various online casino games. Your responsibilities will include identifying, reproducing, and logging all issues found, as well as collaborating closely with developers on issue resolution, validation, and deployment to production.

You will write and maintain clean, performant code while adhering to modern industry best practices. Additionally, you will perform manual validations on real iOS and Android devices for any scenario that cannot be automated.

Team members will guide you throughout your training period and beyond - you will work alongside expert QA engineers and developers from whom you can learn about our internal tools, systems, and engineering standards.

Mission:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and designs of new features and mechanics, pinpointing potential for defect risk cases.
  • Create detailed and comprehensive QA strategies and test plans for new product features and releases.
  • Work closely with Developers and fellow QA Engineers to develop, refine and update automated tests.
  • Design and execute test plans on new product and feature releases.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Cypress.
  • Experience with testing UI on mobile/desktop platforms.
  • Experience with Git (or other similar version control systems).
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript.
