Job Description
The Real Estate Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and optimising the Eurofins network’s global real estate portfolio. The role focuses on driving footprint optimisation initiatives, supporting strategic real estate projects, reducing occupancy and facility-related costs, and ensuring accurate portfolio reporting and data governance across the network.
The position supports business growth through effective real estate planning, financial analysis, performance monitoring, and stakeholder coordination. The Real Estate Portfolio Manager will work closely with Business Leaders, Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams to deliver sustainable, cost-efficient, and data-driven real estate solutions
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:
Portfolio Optimisation and Cost Reduction
- Drive footprint optimisation initiatives across the real estate portfolio.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through benchmarking and portfolio reviews.
- Monitor occupancy costs, space utilisation and real estate performance metrics.
Real Estate Project Management
- Coordinate strategic real estate projects (expansions, relocations, consolidations and lease exits).
- Monitor project timelines, budgets and compliance with Group approval processes.
- Ensure adherence to Real Estate Guidelines and governance standards.
Data Governance and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and reliable real estate portfolio data.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards and KPIs.
- Deliver timely portfolio, project and cost performance reporting to management.
Portfolio Governance
- Monitor critical lease events, renewals and contractual commitments.
- Support lease negotiations, acquisitions development and portfolio optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Group policies and real estate procedures.
Stakeholder Management and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Business Leaders, Finance, Legal, Treasury and Procurement teams.
- Provide guidance on real estate projects, portfolio management and reporting.
- Drive process improvements, standardisation and efficiency across real estate activities.
Qualifications
Background and Education
- Master’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management, Corporate Real Estate, or Finance would be considered an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Real Estate, Asset Management, Project Management, Consulting, or a related environment.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
Languages
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Additional European languages would be considered an asset.
Technical Knowledge (IT)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of real estate databases and portfolio management systems.
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Understanding of lease management processes and IFRS 16 principles would be a plus.
