Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
We are looking for a strong Data Architect with deep expertise in SSIS, SQL Server, Azure modernization, and real-time data streaming. The role will be responsible for leading data engineering initiatives, modernizing legacy ETL platforms, and designing scalable cloud-native data solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of SSIS packages, SQL Server stored procedures, complex queries, data models, and ETL workflows for enterprise-scale applications.
- Drive modernization of legacy data platforms by migrating or re-engineering SSIS/SQL-based solutions to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hubs, and related Azure services.
- Architect and implement real-time and near-real-time streaming data pipelines using Azure streaming technologies, ensuring high performance, reliability, monitoring, and fault tolerance.
- Provide technical leadership to the development team by reviewing designs, guiding implementation, enforcing best practices, and ensuring code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, estimate effort, plan delivery, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Own technical problem-solving for production issues, performance bottlenecks, data quality challenges, and platform modernization risks, while mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement.

Personal Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, passionate in adopting AI to workflows.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language
- Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
