Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve and exceed sales targets for genomics products such as Oligo, Sanger and Next generation Sequencing in the North & Northeast region

2. Develop and execute efficient, creative sales and marketing strategies tailored to the assigned territory and customer segments

3. Build and manage high-performing distribution networks to optimize market penetration and sales efficiency

4. Conduct field visits to prospective and existing customers within the assigned sales area to present company offerings, demonstrate product value, and strengthen brand awareness (approximately 80% travel monthly)

5. Utilize multi-channel communication strategies including outbound calls, email campaigns, and face-to-face meetings to identify opportunities and close sales

6. Develop and sustain long-term, strategic relationships with key customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty

7. Collect, analyze, and report customer feedback and market intelligence to inform organizational strategy and product development

8. Monitor and analyze sales data, prepare periodic forecasts, and deliver comprehensive reports to zonal leadership

9. Manage sales budgets, track ROI on marketing initiatives, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation within the territory

10. Collaborate with product specialists and technical teams to address customer requirements and provide tailored solutions in genomics (Oligo, Probes, sequencing, and next-generation sequencing)

11. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats within the genomics sector

12. Mentor and support junior sales team members to enhance overall team performance and capability development

Qualifications

Masters in Life science/ Bachelor in Life science with MBA

Experience: 8-12 Years
