Join our Performance Management team in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) programme!
As a European Economic Area (EEA) national, aged between 18 and 28, Business France’s V.I.E programme is your chance to embrace an international experience in a leading scientific network. The 12-month contract includes a monthly allowance, and Business France helps with administrative support for a smooth transition abroad.
Candidates must be eligible for the V.I.E programme at the time of application.

Position & objectives:
We are looking for a Performance Analyst to join the team at the corporate office in Brussels, Belgium. You will contribute to multiple projects across the Performance Management team, working with different managers and stakeholders. The role offers the opportunity to support the development of robust operational and ESG reporting processes across the network.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Operational and ESG reporting: Support recurring KPI reporting processes across several workstreams, including data analysis, report preparation, data quality checks, and continuous improvement activities.
Multi‑project reporting system support: Contribute to multiple reporting system initiatives by documenting requirements, supporting testing activities, structuring logic and maintaining clear and consistent process documentation.
Microsoft reporting tools: Support the use, maintenance and enhancement of Microsoft‑based tools, including Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Apps and SharePoint.
Stakeholder coordination: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across various projects to follow up on recommended actions, resolve issues and support delivery progress.
Operational and ESG performance management: Contribute to activities related to EU Taxonomy, ESG report preparation, audit support, KPIs, and CSRD/ESRS reporting.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in engineering, data management, finance, business, sustainability, or a related field. Experience or internship(s) in business analysis, data-driven roles, system support, process improvement or ESG performance topics are considered an asset.
Languages: Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. Additional languages are an advantage.
Personal skills: Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure complex information clearly. Effective communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment. High attention to detail, and willingness to progressively take ownership. Interest in performance management, KPI frameworks, governance and auditability. Prior exposure to CSRD or EU Taxonomy is welcome.
Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and/or Power Automate is a strong plus. Basic understanding of database logic (tables, keys, relationships, data models) is highly valued.
