Job Description

As an Environmental Monitoring Specialist, you will be performing Environmental Monitoring activities associated with clinical and/or commercial facilities, utilities, and water systems. Main responsibilities include:

  • Perform GMP tasks associated with maintaining compliant manufacturing areas and operations
  • Conduct sampling, analyzing, interpreting and trending of results
  • Create, review and approve documentation
  • Work is performed in a clean room environment

This is on-site in Sanford, NC

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a completed Bachelor's degree in a scientific concentration
  • Prior experience with environmental monitoring and/or working in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting ideal (specifically with understanding of cGMP, gLIMS, MODA and MS Office Suite)
  • Comfortability with working in a clean room environment, as gowning/garbing is required in these areas 
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time, sit for 2 to 3 hours at a time, walk long distances and bend to obtain items from lower shelving/cabinets

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with weekend work as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Sanford, NC are encouraged to apply. This site is not accessible by public transportation options; daily, reliable transportation is needed to and from the site.
