Job Description
As a Junior IT Talent Acquisition Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support the IT Talent Acquisition Team in recruiting efforts for various IT roles. You will assist IT Talent Acquisition Specialists and Managers by facilitating intake meetings with department leaders to understand job requirements, source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process. Additionally, you'll collaborate with different stakeholders such as HR Local teams, HRBP, and employer branding teams to ensure alignment and support for recruitment initiatives. Administrative tasks, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate communication, will also be part of your role.
Following onboarding and initial training, you will progressively take ownership of selected recruitment processes, supporting end-to-end hiring activities for specific roles while ensuring a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience. Finally, you'll contribute to enhancing recruitment processes and strategies for continuous improvement.
POSITION & OBJECTIVES:
Sourcing & Screening:
- Identify potential candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, networking).
- Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and fit for roles.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and pre-screening interviews.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and databases to track potential hires (smartrecruiter ATS).
- Assist in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Selection:
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics for candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist in conducting interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills and competencies.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers based on candidate evaluations.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams throughout the selection process.
- Support reference checks and background verification processes for selected candidates.
- After onboarding, progressively manage parts of the recruitment process for selected roles, supporting the end-to-end hiring lifecycle for IT Roles internationally.
General Activities:
- Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, including document management and correspondence.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for recruitment initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or related areas (experience in IT recruitment or international environments is considered a plus).
Education:
- Educational background ideally with a foundation of HR knowledge (Psychology, business administration, Pedagogy, or related field).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to handle sensitive information, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
- English level B2–C1, both written and spoken, with the ability to use English for daily communication with colleagues, managers, and candidates from abroad. Another European language is a plus.
- Technical skills: High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
