Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Process Mapping & Analysis Intern to join our team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona) for a 6-month internship.

The intern will support the organization in mapping, analyzing, and comparing key business processes at local (Italy) level versus Group standards. The objective of the role is to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and misalignments, contributing to improved process harmonization and operational effectiveness.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to an international corporate environment and to develop strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Map and document current business processes at Italian entity level (as-is analysis).
  • Collect and review Group-level process documentation, policies, and guidelines.
  • Perform gap analysis between local practices and Group standards.
  • Identify inconsistencies, improvement areas, and potential optimization opportunities.
  • Support the definition of standardized workflows aligned with Group requirements.
  • Prepare clear and structured documentation, process maps, and summary reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather relevant information.
  • Support meetings and workshops aimed at process alignment and harmonization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration (Economia Aziendale) or Management Engineering (Ingegneria Gestionale).
  • Fluent English (minimum B2/C1 level), both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Structured and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
