Join Our Team as a Senior Process Technician!

At Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc., we’re seeking a skilled Senior Process Technician to lead operations, mentor team members, and ensure flawless execution in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute and troubleshoot complex chemical processing operations, including filtrations, distillations, hydrogenations, chromatography, and specialized tasks like pyrophoric material handling.
• Work independently and lead the shift in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring tasks are completed “right the first time.”
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to assign daily activities and review work quality.
• Support preventive maintenance, plant utilities troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety standards, and accurate documentation practices.

• Have a minimum of a College Diploma or Degree
• Have 2+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility with preference for cGMP experience
• Have experience handling hazardous chemicals
• Have experience working with API or formulation pharmaceutical processing equipment, or related experience in food, cosmetics or specialty chemicals
• Have experience working with computerized chemical processing equipment
• Have proficient written and verbal English communication skills
• Be capable of multi-tasking
• Be capable of sound decision-making
• Have a solid understanding of cGMP principles with prior QA/compliance experience being a definite asset
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Have good time management skills
• Have Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Experience with shift work: 8 hour - 24/5 and/or 12 hour - 24/7 (Continental shift schedule)

The approximate annual base compensation for this position starts at $60,000 CAD (base salary does not include potential shift premiums or overtime). The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
