Job Description

  • Provide software application support and troubleshooting to users and work closely with IT professionals to deliver new user requirements and features of existing applications
  • Provide business process support by analyzing and recommending solutions to business processes in order to improve overall business performance
  • Ensure proper integration and optimization across related systems
  • Understand business process flow and design
  • Suggest areas for business process improvement
  • Develop solutions to meet new requirements
  • Work with internal customers and providing timely applications support and troubleshooting
  • Act as liaison between application users and Information Technology professionals
  • Evaluate practices and processes to ensure applications fit client's needs
  • Manage competing requests and track varying stakeholder needs
  • Drive IT related company initiatives and projects to successful completion  

Qualifications

​​​​​​Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Authorization to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship
  • 1 year of LIMS/ELN experience
  • At least one year of process improvement experience
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to focus on the big picture as well as be detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Capability to learn new software functionality and systems
  • Understanding of business process flow and design

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, 8am-5pm M-F. Overtime may be required when necessary. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
