Working hours are Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm.

As a Laboratory Technician you will process customer samples while maintaining consistent customer service, efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company.

• Responsible for accurately logging samples into the LIMs system in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the taking in of customer samples, sorting and labelling them.
• Responsible for sub-contracting samples as required.
• Responsible for supporting the sales and customer services team in administration and planning.
• Responsible for handling any customer related queries where necessary and liaising with their team to problem solve these queries if needed.
• Responsible for making any necessary changes to internal systems/
• Responsible for communicating regularly with the Laboratory Manager /Laboratory Supervisor/Team Leads of the status of work and for escalating any issues in a timely manner.
• Complete all documentation including training sheets on time, accurately and legibly.
• Undertaking general administration duties including photocopying, typing, filing etc. as required.
• Communicating any technical queries to Laboratory Management.
• Responsible for facilitating training of other staff when required.
• Assist with sample disposal and general laboratory cleaning and maintenance
• Be committed to customer care.
