Job Description

Purchasing and Accounts Receivable Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Primarily responsible for Inventory Management, Stock Control, Purchase Order processing, and Equipment Maintenance in order to ensure continuation of daily business operations.
  • Assists in the initial receipt, inspection, and review of received reagents . alculating and placing purchase orders, quotations, while acquiring materials, operations supplies and equipment.
  • Controlling inventory to support laboratory operations, establishing control of supplies through assessing and calculating inventory needs.
  • Review and follow Standard Operational Procedures including staying up to date with changes.
  • High integrity and demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with other departments in a team environment.
  • Works with Quality Assurance to resolve client complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Identifies process improvement and cost reduction options to streamline purchasing and help meet budgetary objectives.
  • Manage incoming payments and properly track them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
  • Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payments.
  • Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to support the laboratory.
  • Meets basic expectations of Eurofins CellTx’s quality management system, including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, accurate recordkeeping so the company may meet its stated quality policy and objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 - 3 years inventory and purchasing experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing and inventory control in a regulated or biomedical or chemical research laboratory, preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to organize, communicate, teach, and work with others in an effective manner.
  • Ability to manage and schedule the work of others.
  • General clinical laboratory knowledge
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate Excel, Outlook, and data entry skills
  • Ability to work within quality systems under regulatory requirements
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials.  All employees must abide by Eurofins CellTx Safety and Exposure procedures.  This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Tucson, AZ are encouraged to apply.
