Job Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position formulates partnerships across the leadership team, HR function, and internal teams to deliver value-added HR service to management and employees that reflects the objectives and core values of Eurofins PSS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision and Eurofins PSS Core Values of Superlative Service, Operational Excellence, Teamwork and Collaboration and Quality and Integrity
- Partner with VP of HR, Senior Leadership to develop and implement Eurofins PSS wide initiatives related to performance management, employee relations and employee engagement.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Collaborate with the Organizational Development team to develop training for managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with HR programs and policies. Identify training needs for and coaching needs.
- Craft policies, procedures, guidance, tools, and communications related to HR initiatives, programs, and policies.
- Partner with NSC Employment Compliance and Legal teams as needed/required. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and Eurofins PSS policies and procedures related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and identify trends in workforce data to ensure compliance, and propose solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and partner with leadership, VP of HR and Employment Compliance function to resolve employee relations issues. Ability to conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy to include the Eurofins’ network of companies, Eurofins PSS clients, Eurofins PSS business plans, our culture and competition.
- Respond to employee queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, modeling Superlative Service standards.
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR Policy, Employee Relations, and Performance Management processes.
- Experience with HRIS Systems and reporting
- Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- HR Certification preferred, but not required. (i.e., PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
