Job Description
EAG Laboratories has multiple openings for Test Operators to join our ATE Engineering team.
The IC Assembler/Test Operator will be responsible for manual testing and operating automated test equipment (ATE) to test semiconductor parts/components.
*Available work schedules:
- Shift A: Sun to Tues, and every other Weds from Noon to Midnight
- Shift B: Sun to Tues, and every other Weds, Midnight, 00:00 to Noon
- Shift C: Every other Weds, Thurs to Sat from Noon to Midnight
- Shift D: Every other Weds, Thurs to Sat from Midnight, 00:00 to Noon
Responsibilities:
- Operate semiconductor automated testing equipment and manual test.
- Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate, complete and timely for each operation.
- Meet test priority and on-time goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Work cohesively with other team members and assist to achieve testing objectives.
- Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience with IC testing (aka ATE test) in electronic manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in running semiconductor test equipment.
- Good Excel skills.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Ability to work with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to calculate test yield and troubleshoot routine issues.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
- Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels.
- Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
- Ability to handle small and fragile devices with tweezers and /or fingers.
- Require close distance visual acuity.
- Must be willing and able to wear PPE such as ESD shoes, safety glasses, laboratory coat and/or any other devices or equipment that is required.
- Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
- Ability to move equipment or items up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information
Pay Range: $20.40 - $31.54 (Pay is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)
