• Start your career supporting manufacturing & laboratory operations to develop and produce medicines that contribute to healthier and safer lives
• Work as a team across a laboratory and manufacturing setting by performing receipt of samples and their processing and distribution to QC laboratories.
• Ensure supplies are prepared, organized, and stocked to support operations
• Opportunity to provide on the job training and day-to-day guidance to other staff under supervision.
• Assisting laboratory analytical personnel as required.
• Follow all procedures and keep detailed records and ensure accurate and legible documentation
• Performs the following responsibilities but not limited to:

• • Completing and submitting Sample Submission Forms
  • Completing and submitting Packing Lists
  • Scheduling Shipments
  • Weekly CTL Meeting for TAT follow-up and testing delays/excursions/external lab events
  • Escalations to QC lead/Supervisor
  • Physical transfer of samples from QC custody to Shipping team
  • LIMS Location maintenance for shipped samples
  • Entering results in LIMS
  • Authorization of LIMS Results
  • Notification of CoA receipt
  • Pagination of CoAs

Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations.  Ensure cross training initiative are in place and followed. 
• Lead by example.  Demonstrate by words and actions what it is to be a successful ELLI PSS employee.  Demonstrate willing to do what is necessary for the program to be successful.  Demonstrate through word and actions that we are part of the team. 
• Foster morale and teamwork.  Ensure the reward and recognition programs are utilized to the fullest.  Ensure systems are implemented at the site to foster team morale.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective, trusting work and customer relationships.  Build loyal customer relationships.  Meet with Client’s on a regular basis.
• Self-starter, able to prioritize work and work efficiently with minimal supervision. 
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to learn procedures and to use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Ability to wear safety and protective gear including scrubs, lab coat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, protective shoes in a manufacturing environmental
• Ability to work with the physical demands of the position which include:

1. ​Standing/walking for several hours at a time
2. Carry, lift, push, and/or pull up to 25 pounds regularly
3. Climbing ladders or stairwells several times a day 
4. Bending or kneeling several times a day
5. Overhead reaching   
6. Repetitive use of arms/wrists/hands while setting up equipment and processing
