Accounts Assistant (Billing & Credit Control – AR)

We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant (Billing & Credit Control – AR) to join our Finance team at the Eurofins Biomnis in Sandyford, Dublin 18. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in the healthcare sector, and would suit a proactive individual  with good analytical and problem solving skills. Training and development support will be given to you to help your progression within the organisation.

Office Based role - not a Hybrid role

Job Description

The purpose of the role is to take shared responsibility for the billing and credit control function for the Eurofins business entities, manage client queries, and provide support for reporting and analysis in the department. The role requires  working with teams both on site and in the National and European offices.

Specific Tasks:

  • Customer invoicing
  • Credit Control
  • Customer queries
  • Daily banking and credit card processing
  • Account reconciliations
  • Regular reporting to Management
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

Education

  • Diploma/Bachelors’ degree in Business or Finance related field

                      or

  • IATI qualification or part qualified accountant 

Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and proven track record in credit control 

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with key customers, and to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable liaising with senior members internally
  • Previous experience in medical diagnostics or pharma environment an advantage
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Exchequer an advantage
