Job Description
This Job Description is for a combined position as Scientific Documentation Specialist and Scientific Writer. Both functions will be taking up half of your time.
As a Scientific Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for handling several service requests and providing functional project support amongst the ADDI (Analytical Development Data Integration) team. The main function of this position is to handle administrative and scientific tasks which includes data entry, data reviewing and more.
As a Scientific Writer, you will be responsible for writing scientific documents (reports, overviews, …) based upon data received by the client.
Responsibilities:
- Editing, uploading, and following up of documents on the system.
- Consolidating documents.
- Writing Scientific Reports in Word and related activities.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Data Project action execution coordination and follow up.
- Following up and reporting to client teams.
- Ensuring data sharing compliance and content.
- Other functional related support tasks such as Data entry and Data reviewing.
Qualifications
- A bachelor/ master’s degree in a scientific related field or equivalent through experience.
- A first experience and exposure to pharmaceutical lab activities is nice to have.
- Previous experience in a cGMP environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of client tools and lab infrastructure is an asset (Empower, Sharepoint, ELN, TruVault, Trackwise, …)
- Ability to create clear summaries and presentations.
- Ability to read and link information to each other.
- Ability to learn from previous projects and use knowledge in new projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is a must as this is the working language – Dutch is nice to have.
- An enthusiastic and creative person with the ability to be a great team player.
- A proactive approach, adaptive and a sense of urgency attitude combined with a patient approach while testing an app in development.
- Fast-learning and accurate.
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
