Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the financial operations of the site, including planning, organizing and controlling the financial resources
- Manage month end closing process for site
- Provide financial analysis as required
- Provide key financial inputs for one-year planning
- Interact with clients relative to requests for quotes and other financial aspects of the relationship
- Insure key financial metrics (i.e., working capital, DSO, DPO, etc.) are met by the site
- Creates and sends invoices for work performed / billing milestones as needed including pre-payments, credit memos, etc.
- Manages credit evaluations and client financial due diligence for site
- Assists BDs, Client Services, and Study Directors in internal requests for study information, ERP information, past billing information
- Troubleshooting ERP issues with invoicing / Sales Orders
- Assists other Discovery sites with collections and payment processing as needed
- Assists the NSC with inquires, unapplied cash, and mis-deposits
- Completes various other tasks, internally and externally, as needed
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timelines
- Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required
- Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
- Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the business
- Strong computer and organization skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Candidates within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
