Senior Laboratory Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
• Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
• Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Performs sample prep including operation of smoking machines and/or wet chemistry techniques
• Performs routine analysis in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products, including wet chemistry techniques, some instrumental techniques and/or physical tests
• Documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
• Performs instrument calibration and is able to recognize errors
• Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills; excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude; ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Laboratory Experience

• Position is full-time,  Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM overtime as needed.
