Technical Writer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Write reports using clear and concise language. Utilize a strong English background, excellent grammar, good writing skills, and knowledge of sentence structure.
• Effectively proofread documents prepared by self and others for content and data to ensure accuracy.
• Edit documents quickly and efficiently to incorporate required revisions.
• Review raw data and calculations to verify accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GLP’s, SOP’s, and protocols
• Be familiar with pertinent study protocols, GLP’s, SOP’s.
• Other duties as required for the effective and efficient operation of the laboratory and company in general.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Typing ability of 50-60 words per minute. 
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Communications, English, or other related degree concentration.
•  One year of experience in technical writing, preferably in a scientific environment.
• Experience in a GLP environment preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

This is an onsite, full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
