Job Description
- Routine testing to support QC Chemistry laboratory
- Use multiple gel-based assays including Capillary Electrophoresis
- Perform analysis of proteins and the impurities or raw materials associated with their production using various analytical techniques
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
- Perform tests accurately
- Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems
- Use office and instrumentation specific computer software
- Produce written reports (e.g., SOP, OMC, client reports)
- Initiate and perform investigations
- Serve as administrator of analytical instrumentation systems
- Develop and execute validation plans
- Carry out method transfers and feasibility studies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
1 year of experience
- Exposure to analytical methods (HPLC, Spectrophotometer, analytics, pH, raw materials) and their software (Empower)
- Knowledge and experience in GMP environment
- Knowledge and experience with LIMS
Additional Information
Position is full-time, 2nd shift, Sunday– Thursday, 2:00 pm-10:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
