Job Description
The National Account Director role will pursue, close and drive growth from National Contracts with Corporate Industrial Fortune 500 Companies, and targeted service companies. Requires high level of appropriate skills for Corporate Industrial approach, presentation, and close including the ability to independently develop value propositions and financial models for Corporate C-Suite decision-makers. Assigned targets may have minimal knowledge and interface with Eurofins Environment Testing USA prior to approach. The Senior National Account Director will articulate Company’s unique strengths and offering, with desired result of Preferred Master Services Agreement, partnership, or sole source lab testing sourcing agreement. Revenue generation is the sole measure of success.
National Account Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Generate opportunities and business directly from an assigned list developed by the VP of National Programs.
- Responsible for exploratory sales communications and telemarketing to large Fortune 500+ manufacturing/industrial corporations with environmental liabilities, or service companies, where Eurofins Environment Testing USA has little or no relationship.
- Responsible and accountable for the attainment of revenue objectives. Focus will be on establishing new clients with high growth potential on a national scope. Minimum sales of $500K in year one, $2M in year two on completely new targets. Additional sales growth targets will also be established for accounts with an existing revenue base. Incremental gains in actual growth will be expected in subsequent years.
- Ability to effectively manage 50+ ongoing developmental relationships efficiently.
- Ability to create, develop, present, and negotiate customized and unique business and financial value propositions for C-suite audiences in target corporations.
- As applicable, the National Account Director will work with a team of Field Account Executives in the development of the targeted national account at site levels. The National Account Director will provide coaching, leverage, and guidance to field sales in this classical national account process.
- Extensive travel is required in this position.

Qualifications
- BS/BA in Business, technology, science or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum 15 years corporate sales experience with demonstrated success working with executive suite clients.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Full-time position Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Candidates located within the United States are encouraged to apply. This role is a Salary + Commission role. Individuals with Environmental Testing Industry knowledge and exposure are preferred.
