Job Description
- With guidance specific to the task and or the study, this individual assists in the support of all aspects of the planning and conduct of a study.
- This may involve utilizing an electronic data capture system to review study data, generate queries, respond to questions about the protocol and track progress on the study.
- This individual may also track invoices, payments and track enrollment and study visits as appropriate to a protocol.
- This role requires interactions with other colleagues on multiple study teams, and also colleagues in other departments such as procurement.
- Must be able to handle a high volume of tasks and also requires an keen eye for detail, an ability to learn new systems, and skill with resolving issues.
- Additional responsibilities may include, but aren’t limited to: data validation, data corrections, document review and processing, in-depth issue resolution, etc.
Qualifications
- Clinical study experience, data management experience
- Ability to discern the appropriate communication type best to utilize given the situation at hand. For example, some colleagues can be helped over email or phone. Some require an office visit or Webex session to share the issues at hand.
- Patience to work through complex issues with colleagues in multiple locations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical area such as animal science, biology, veterinary technology
- Ability to work with minimal oversight in complex environment
- Skill learning and accessing computer systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Kalamazoo, MI are encouraged to apply.
