Job Description
The QM will maintain all ISO 17025 standards, ensuring that all requirements, activities, and documentations are accomplished as detailed in the quality policy and pass all internal and external quality audits.
The QM will maintain and continually develop our Proficiency Testing Program and will manage all communication with Accreditation body ANAB.
Responsibilities include:
Updating traceability documentation, performing method validations, conducting quality assurance and management review plans, processing internal audit reports, monitoring and assessing customer satisfaction/complaints, nonconformance's, and issuing corrective actions. Responsible for investigating and resolving quality control risks, issues, and errors, maintaining records of Calibration and Statistical Process Control Data.
The QM will be responsible for maintaining and managing certified reference materials and certificates of accreditation for applicable tests and will act as the lead auditor in internal audits and will manage the internal audit schedule.
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to self-manage, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks in a flexible and responsive manner
- Capacity to be a team player and work with a variety of people, customers, contracts, subcontractors, vendors, etc.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal & written communication skills, including technical writing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in the quality field, laboratory testing, oil analysis or related field
- A basic understanding of statistics and chemistry
- ISO and laboratory instrument experience (ICP-OES, FTIR, GC, EDXRF) is desired

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Northeast Ohio are encouraged to apply.
