Job Description

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

The purpose of this role is to take a lead on support for the UK Treasury Team with the day-to-day running of the treasury function ensuring processes are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with corporate deadlines. The is an important role and will interface with Managing Directors, Financial Controllers, Heads of service functions, Eurofins Group Treasury, banks and the shared service function.

  • Handling the day-to-day treasury function across the 55 UK legal entities – preparing payment paperwork, reviewing and approving/authorising payments, processing internal account transfers and payroll transactions.
  • Identifying cashflow needs for induvial business and forecasting cash requirements for reviews with the business.  
  • Liaising with banks and maintaining banking documentation and good relationships.
  • Liaising with credit card providers and maintaining credit card documentation.
  • Overviewing the preparation of internal cash funding requests to Eurofins Group Treasury.
  • Challenge current process and structure for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Support ongoing corporate initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
  • Banking systems and accounting knowledge
  • Proven experience within in a finance role ie. Shared Service Centre and / or audit firm
  • Computer literate - confident using Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organised.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
