EAG is looking for a strong EBSD Scientist to join the team to be responsible for processing/imaging SEM/EBSD samples using FEI tools. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques.

• Master’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline and at least 2 years of focused experience in SEM and EBSD operation.

• Experience with EBSD and electron microscopy technique development. 

• Experience working in a lab environment, preparing samples, analyzing data, preparing reports and communicating the results.

• Knowledge of the theory and practice of analyses of metal samples. 

• Experience with sample preparation is highly desirable. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines. 

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

• Self-motivated, organized and interested in learning.
