EAG is looking for a strong EBSD Scientist to join the team to be responsible for processing/imaging SEM/EBSD samples using FEI tools. The work environment is fast-paced with firm deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and be expected to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques.
- Master’s degree in relevant engineering physical science discipline and at least 2 years of focused experience in SEM and EBSD operation.
Experience with EBSD and electron microscopy technique development.
Experience working in a lab environment, preparing samples, analyzing data, preparing reports and communicating the results.
Knowledge of the theory and practice of analyses of metal samples.
Experience with sample preparation is highly desirable.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
