Role will require a person to have good understanding of LIMS solutions and be able to collect and analyze business requirements.

Person should be able to convert business requirements into IT requirements which can be implemented on IT systems used in lab.

Person should be able to analyze and resolve user queries, user testing issues and provide user trainings. He/she should be able to provide L1 support to users in lab.

Providing first level of application and IT support to end users & responding to end users requests

Working with vendors to implement laboratory IT infrastructure and applications

Gathering requirements from business for laboratory application & IT infrastructure

Working experience on Microsoft OS platform

Contacting users to find out the nature of the problem.

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.

Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.

Understanding of network &  Network Device (Firewall, Switches) & Server Hardware (good to have)

Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.

Advising on software or hardware upgrades.

Providing basic training in computer operation and management.

Completing job reports and ordering supplies.

Understanding of Active Directory environment is a plus point

Experience : 5-8  years of experience in both area (implementing LIMS, HRIS application in laboratory) and taking of IT infrastructure area such as Servers, Desktop/laptop,

 Qualification:

Graduation (engineering is preferred)

Technology certification from Microsoft (MCP or MCT or relevant to Desktop support environment)

Application Development certification

PMP certification
