Job Description

EAG is looking for an Analyst to join our lab in Syracuse, NY. The candidate will perform material testing across multiple techniques and the associated data collection, analysis, and reporting.  Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for process and equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related STEM field.
  • 3+ years of prior work experience 
  • Testing Instrumentation experience (Microscope, Spectrophotometer, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Technical competence/Curiosity
  • Data Analysis
  • Experience in processing materials in a controlled lab environment
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to communicate with other team members to discuss analytical goals clarify analytical goals and resolve potential issues.
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity required.
  • Some standing, lifting, and bending while work in the lab.
  • Ability to work in a chemical and analytical laboratory environment is required.
