Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Develop company safety and health programs
Implement and maintain shared systems for EHS management
Evaluate loss trends and communicate EHS metrics to business leaders
Conduct EHS inspections and audits
Review incident investigations
Assist with Industrial Hygiene monitoring
Train and educate employees on safe work practices
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Industrial hygiene and/or pharmaceutical industry experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related science degree (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Fluent in Microsoft applications
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply.
