Job Description

 

  • Provide global category management for a given range of Purchasing Categories
  • Develop strategic plans to deliver financial goals, incorporating current product/ services portfolio optimization in selected categories
  • Ensure effective supplier selection, vendors’ management, global tendering process with multiple vendors, negotiation and drafting of contracts in line with business objectives
  • Establish solid relationships with regional Purchasing Managers, key stakeholders and Business Units to select the most appropriate purchasing strategy
  • Negotiate & implement global master services agreements/contracts
  • Perform an active market research for new products/ suppliers for selected categories
  • Identify and asses the opportunities for cost optimization through proposed actions and effective spend data analysis
  • Conduct suppliers’ benchmarking/ KPI assessment
  • Build up the scenarios for the most effective category management

 

Qualifications

 

  • University degree in Supply Management, Finance, Economics or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Business Fluency in English
  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing/ procurement/ strategic sourcing/ SC area with an emphasis on international Category Management or on a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of whole range of different Categories
  • Understanding and experience of working with a defined procurement process
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and prioritize appropriately in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to work with complex data and information
  • Desktop/ PC proficiency including Microsoft Office, specifically: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
