The Airport Supervisory Programme is a hands-on training programme gives you invaluable experience in airport operations, from guest services to safety and security, preparing you for a future leadership role in aviation.  

What to expect 

We are offering a tailored career programme designed to suit your unique ambitions, providing hands-on experience learning from the best in aviation, and unlocking your full potential. This three-to-four-year development programme will provide you with the skills needed for a supervisory role in airport operations. You’ll gain experience across key operational areas, ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth airport operations.  

  

 

What you’ll achieve 

Real-world experience in guest handling, check-in, boarding, transfer desk and arrivals  

Safety and compliance training meeting global industry standards  

A 12-to-24-month international assignment as an Airport Operations Supervisor in a training capacity  

A clear career path to becoming an Airport Duty Supervisor in one of our stations in the global network abroad  

 

 

Accountabilities

Oversee guest handling across airport touch-points, ensuring top-tier service and compliance with safety, security, and brand standards. 

Meet KPIs, ancillary revenue, and customer service targets. 

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations, briefings, and updates. 

Manage flight editing and special guest requirements (VIP, PRM and special categories). 

Liaise with control teams to handle disruptions, emergencies, and service recovery. 

Identify and report safety and security risks, escalating significant issues as needed. 

 

 

 

Compensation

Phase 1 

Training - 12 Months - AED 10,000 plus Benefits 

  

Phase 2(After successful completion of Phase 1) 

On-the-job Experience - Up to 24 Months - AED 20,750 plus Benefits 

  

Phase 3 (After successful completion of Phase 2 & subject to open positions) 

Placement - Up to 36 Months - AED 25,467 plus Benefits

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree completed in the last three years  
  • Are UAE nationals, aged 21 or older with a valid family book 
  • Have a completion or permanent exemption certificate from UAE National Service (for males)  
  • Are fluent in English (written and spoken)  
  • Are ready to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment  
  • Can wear the Etihad uniform with pride  
  • Are open to working at airports outside the UAE
