Perform general accounting, fixed assets transactions and support verification and reconciliation activities to ensure the timely and accurate execution of daily tasks.

Accountabilities

• Record transactions in the books of account to ensure compliance to the manual of authority, internal policies and accounting standards
• Track capital projects and ensue timely capitalization upon completion of the projects
• Perform accounting activities to ensure daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare the month end reports for the management team to ensure key information are communicated on time and in a complete manner as part of month end closing activities
• Collect, consolidate and analyse financial data to ensure timely and accurate cost controls in compliance with accounting standards
• Identify and communicate potential issues to ensure resolution in a timely and effective manner
• Review and approve self-service workflows pertaining to weekly and monthly claims within the agreed SLA to ensure all supporting documents are received and validated prior to approve any transactions.
• Provide comprehensive and timely responses to enquiries from employees, managers and/or other internal/external stakeholders and processes transactional requests, with aim to resolution in accordance with SLA
• Cross charging for all fixed assets related cost between entities

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Professional accounting and /or finance qualification would be an added advantage (e.g. CPA,ACCA,CMA,CFA)
• At least 5 years’ experience of working in an relevant finance role.
• SAP experience would be an advantage
