    Job Description

We are looking for a community‑minded professional who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and helping young adults take meaningful steps toward their future. This role blends field outreach, eligibility guidance, case follow-up, and structured performance expectations.
You will represent our program throughout your assigned county — at schools, events, community centers, local businesses, youth organizations, and anywhere young adults gather. You’ll also guide prospective students through the early stages of enrollment, ensuring they understand program requirements and complete all needed steps accurately and on time.
This is a hybrid position: time in the field, time online, and time working remotely.
Your work directly contributes to monthly enrollment and arrival outcomes.

    Community Outreach, Engagement & Partnerships

    • Build and maintain ongoing partnerships with schools, youth programs, community centers, social service agencies, local businesses, etc.
    • Participate in, and often lead, outreach events, presentations, info sessions, tabling, festivals, and community fairs.
    • Maintain a consistent monthly outreach schedule and meet required activity levels.
    • Promote opportunities to underserved and underrepresented groups in your area.

    Lead Generation & Eligibility Preparation

    • Introduce the program to young adults and help them determine if they meet basic eligibility criteria (age, income background, education status, etc.).
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy when collecting personal information.
    • Accurately enter new leads into tracking systems and ensure they are complete, valid, and documented.
    • Follow up quickly with every lead to maintain momentum.

    Application Conversion, Follow-Up & Documentation

    • Guide prospective applicants step-by-step until they are ready to begin their application.
    • Maintain consistent contact with your pipeline through calls, texts, emails, and face‑to‑face meetings.
    • Keep thorough and timely notes in all required online systems.
    • Ensure applicants understand expectations, deadlines, and next steps.
    • Support the team in achieving high conversion from leads → applicants → arrivals.

    Accountability, Technology & Performance Standards

This is a goal‑driven role with clear expectations, including:

    • Meeting monthly activity minimums (events, partnerships, lead interactions)
    • Maintaining accurate and timely data in digital systems
    • Following eligibility and documentation guidelines
    • Supporting monthly enrollment and arrival outcomes
    • Maintaining professional communication with partners, applicants, and families

Your success is measured by both your outreach activity and the quality of your follow‑through.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum of a 2‑year degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
    • Experience in community outreach, youth engagement, sales, customer service, recruiting, or similar fields.
    • Strong comfort with online systems, digital communication, and data entry.
    • Ability to work independently with strong follow‑through and time management.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within your assigned county.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism at all times.

    Compensation

    • ($39,499.20) annual salary
    • Monthly incentive/bonus opportunities based on individual and team performance
    • Mileage reimbursement
    • Hybrid schedule — field, remote, and some office-based work
    • Full benefits package
