Job Description

We are looking for a driven, organized individual to join our team as a Paralegal, responsible for supporting the Legal Department in
corporate, contract, intellectual property and other matters across Equinox Group and its portfolio of brands, including Equinox
Fitness Clubs, Equinox+, SoulCycle, Blink Fitness and Equinox Hotels. You should be an experienced, highly motivated individual ready
to play a key role across a wide variety of legal areas. You should be a collaborative and results-oriented individual with the ability to
manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Help maintain the company’s corporate entities and records.
  • Prepare, review and edit various agreements and documents such as NDAs and help manage contract program and processes.
  • Support management of Equinox Group’s trademark portfolio, including by coordinating with outside counsel on applications and renewals, collaborating with business partners to collect specimens of use, and assisting in conducting preliminary clearance searches.
  •  Assist in investigating brand protection matters and preparing cease and desist letters.
  • Perform a variety of legal assignments, and manage routine projects, across the Legal Department including drafting and transmitting legal correspondence and documents and governmental filings.
  • Provide regular feedback and ensure effective communication with internal clients and appropriate departments regarding the status of legal projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or in-house.
  • Experience with managing IP portfolios strongly preferred, with contract management and corporate entity management experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organization and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  •  Ability to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and competing priorities, and remain organized in a fastpaced environment.
  • Drive to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Position will be based at our NYC headquarters.


Pay Transparency: $81,000 - $94,500
