Project Assistant - Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth (JPCE)
Full-time | Fixed-term (12 months) | Epworth Corporate
An exciting opportunity is available for a Project Assistant to support the delivery of a Victorian Government–funded project and donor‑funded initiatives at the Jreissati Pancreatic Centre at Epworth.
This role is essential to ensuring grant deliverables are met, projects are delivered on time, and stakeholders are engaged through high‑quality education, awareness and community initiatives.
About the role
Reporting to the Centre Program Manager, you will provide hands-on project support across patient experience, education, advocacy and community engagement projects. You will work closely with internal teams, clinicians, researchers, donors and external partners to ensure outcomes align with government grant requirements and donor expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of projects funded by a Victorian Government grant and philanthropic donors
- Coordinate education and awareness initiatives, including annual clinical education events and community campaigns
- Assist with the development, review and delivery of patient and clinician education resources
- Prepare, update and maintain accurate, accessible content for online platforms and project materials
- Support reporting, documentation and evidence required to meet grant and funding deliverables
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, partners and donors
- Provide high‑quality administrative and coordination support to ensure milestones, timelines and KPIs are achieved
Qualifications
About you
You are a highly organised and proactive project support professional who enjoys working in purpose‑driven environments. You bring strong attention to detail, particularly when working with funded projects that require clear documentation, reporting and accountability. Comfortable juggling multiple priorities, you work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, building trusted relationships with clinicians, researchers, donors and community stakeholders. You are motivated by meaningful work and take pride in contributing to outcomes that deliver real benefit to patients and the wider community.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as health, science or a related discipline
- Proven project coordination or project support experience
- Experience working with grants, donor‑funded projects or healthcare/research settings (desirable)
