Job Description

Reporting directly to the Design Manager, as a senior designer you will be responsible for managing and developing communication and marketing collateral that aligns with the Epworth brand. This is a two year full time role, however flexible working arrangements are available for the successful applicant. 

Managing creative projects from concept to delivery, creating cohesive, accessible, and engaging designs across all Epworth digital and print platforms, you will ensure our materials remain contemporary, professional, and compelling.This includes the creation of social media design assets, designing impactful collateral and developing professional corporate publications.

Operating within a collaborative framework across the organisation to service all organisational partners, you will work with the Design Manager to oversee and direct brand application, corporate identity and adherence to brand protocols and strategies whenever necessary, whilst providing expert advice across various domains, encompassing web design, digital multimedia, internal communications and other branded environments.

You will make an impact by:

  • Playing a key role in the development and delivery of stakeholder objectives, with an understanding of strategic priorities.
  • Producing high quality design deliverables in print and/or digital ensuring that communications and marketing materials are professional, inclusive and visually compelling.
  • Championing the corporate and visual identity of Epworth, working with the Communications & Engagement team to ensure consistent application across the organisation.

Position Description

Qualifications

You will bring:

  • Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum eight years experience in an in-house or design studio role
  • Experience in managing external suppliers, including photographers, printers and signage manufacturers
  • Design qualifications and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency required (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and Acrobat are essential)
  • Strong understanding of branding, print layout design, signage and digital platforms
  • Strong creative ability, exceptional eye for detail and advanced typographic skills
