Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our Rehabilitation team at Camberwell in a full‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term parental leave cover role, commencing in May.  This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic rehabilitation environment, collaborating closely with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to support patients with a broad range of rehabilitation needs.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working collaboratively with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to support patient rehabilitation
  • Assisting in the management of patients across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs
  • Supporting the delivery of hydrotherapy sessions and other group‑based activities
  • Contributing to non‑clinical and administrative tasks to support service delivery

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience as an Allied Health Assistant within a rehabilitation or hospital setting (preferred) or currently studying towards a physiotherapy qualification 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a collaborative and patient‑centred approach
  • Excellent administration, time‑management, and organisational skills
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a strong focus on patient wellbeing
  • The ability to show initiative, with high attention to detail and accuracy in your work

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance, or currently studying towards a Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology qualification, with valid working rights in Australia.
