Job Description

Supporting clinical research so that it is conducted safely, ethically and in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements and Epworth policies, while supporting high‑quality patient care, this role provides overall support for both industry sponsored and investigator-initiated research activities relating to Medical Oncology. Assisting with general administrative work that pertains to Medical Oncology trials, you will be required to process biological specimens including the collection, receipt, storage, documentation and tracking of samples.

You will make an impact by:

  • Ensuring compliance with ICH‑GCP, TGA guidelines and the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans.
  • Supporting organisation and coordination of all trial‑related activities, including participant visits, in accordance with approved study protocols.
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date research study files, clinical documentation and data in both hard copy and within the clinical trials management system (CTMS).
  • Assisting in the management of study databases and visit payment tracking

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in science, health care or a related field
  • Clinical research experience
