Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available to join Epworth Eastern at Box Hill as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) within the Endoscopy Scrub/Scout team.

We are currently seeking:

  • Permanent Part‑Time ANUM, and
  • Full‑Time Temporary ANUM for a 12‑month fixed term, commencing approximately April.

These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing Endoscopy service while developing leadership capability within a supportive and values‑driven environment.

In this role, you will provide team leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective management and the ongoing development of our Endoscopy team. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will be part of our theatre leadership team at Epworth Eastern, joining a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that strives to achieve outstanding outcomes every day. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations and working collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care during endoscopy procedures.

 You will make an impact by:

  • Assist in day-to-day management of the Endoscopy team

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
  • Respiratory experience is highly regarded
  • Be passionate about leading through, developing and guiding others
  • Extensive experience and clinical skills within Endoscopy nursing
  • Flexibility and excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Committed to learning and developing current clinical practice
  • Well-developed understanding of relevant professional standards
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Perioperative nursing or working towards highly desirable
  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA

The annual salary range for full time ANUM – AUD $107,462 - $110,966 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
