Job Description

We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses for both full-time and part-time positions in the general medical ward at Epworth Freemasons, located in East Melbourne. Candidates should be able to work a rotating roster that includes AM, PM, nights, and weekends, following a 12-hour shift schedule.

Epworth Freemasons features a 33-bed acute general medical unit and a 8-bed day medical unit for infusions and other day procedures. We also provide comprehensive cancer care and a full range of surgical services, including robotic-assisted surgery, orthopaedics, and ICU care.

A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering high quality nursing care and an exceptional experience to our patients

To be successful in this role:

You are highly accountable and demonstrate a supportive and engaging style and are committed to further developing leadership skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management and organisational skills, which enable you to prioritise effectively to manage multiple requirements.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • 2 years experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a hospital graduate program
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (pro-rated for part-time).
