Job Description
Epworth Freemasons is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Acute Physiotherapy Team. This is a part-time role (22.8 hours per week), ideally spread across Monday to Wednesday, with some flexibility in days and hours for the right candidate. In this role, you will manage a varied acute surgical and ICU caseload, while also contributing to non-clinical responsibilities that support the development of our service and team.
As a senior clinician, you will bring strong clinical expertise in the acute inpatient setting, along with a passion for leadership—whether you are an emerging leader or bring proven experience in a senior role. You will also demonstrate a commitment to service improvement, supported by involvement in quality initiatives and/or clinical research.
You will make an impact by:
- Delivering individualised, evidence-based physiotherapy care to acute surgical and ICU patients
- Providing senior clinical leadership within the physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams
- Driving service development and improvement through collaboration, quality initiatives, and research
- Demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to safe, high-quality care in a dynamic environment
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team culture across physiotherapy and allied health
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive acute physiotherapy experience (minimum 7 years)
- Proven leadership skills, including staff supervision, mentoring, and education
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
- Strong communication, time management, and organisational abilities
- A passion for collaborative, patient-centred care and achieving high-quality outcomes

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council
- Current physiotherapy registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
