Job Description

In these Part -Time Environmental Services Assistant roles, located in Epworth Camberwell , you will be responsible for cleaning in patient rooms and general areas.

You will be part of the Environmental Services team and report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Maintaining nominated areas in a clean state in accordance with specified work schedules and cleaning systems
  • Safely removing waste and linen from allocated areas
  • Patient room cleaning including discharge cleaning and infectious room cleans as required
  • Cleaning and maintaining common areas
  • Cleaning of general equipment (non-clinical)
  • Undertaking non-cleaning tasks as directed

To be successful in this role…

You will have

  • The ability to work any shift as required- including on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
  • Must have at least 1-2 yrs experience as an ESA in Healthcare 
  • Sound knowledge of infection control
  • A strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • The ability to work unsupervised and take direction
  • Great time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
