Job Description
An exciting and challenging opportunity exists for a highly motivated Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Epworth Rehabilitation team.
The successful candidate will work in the inpatient team with either a Neurology or mixed clinical caseload, primarily based at our Camberwell site with the opportunity to work at our other two rehabilitation sites if required.
They will be involved in service development, quality improvement activities, staff supervision, student supervision, and continuing education programs.
You will be part of the Occupational Therapy team, reporting to the Deputy Manager of Occupational Therapy.

You will make an impact by:
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team
- Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
- Having well-developed organisational and planning skills
- Being able to interact and collaborate with all members of a multidisciplinary team
To be successful in this role you:
- Will be proficient in assessment, management, and discharge planning of rehabilitation patients
- Are able to demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
- Have the ability to supervise and educate junior staff and students
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent as recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy
