Job Description
This is a fixed term, part-time role (0.5 EFT) commencing Monday 7th April 2025 until June 2027. Based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for identifying, anticipating and responding to the educational needs of the nurse and clinical environment and developing and facilitating internal education programs that supports the autologous stem cell transplant service and the introduction of CAR T-cell clinical trials at Epworth Freemasons. You will provide clinical supervision, assessment and support to nursing staff at Epworth Freemasons within the cellular therapies and haematology specialty. Reporting to the Education Manager, you will be well supported and be part of a positive and friendly Education team.
To be successful in this role…
You will drive quality and safety within the hospital through education, training, workshops, seminars, and clinical support to aid staff development to improve patient outcomes.
You will have:
- A minimum of four years’ experience in haematology nursing including Autologous stem cell transplantation.
- Demonstrated ability to work strongly with dynamic and diverse teams.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and achieve outcomes.
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and ability to work within agreed parameters.
- Previous education / facilitation experience is desirable, though not essential.

Qualifications
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification in oncology.
- Hold or be working towards a Masters qualification in Education or relevant area of practice (desirable)
