Job Description

Join an iconic not-for-profit private Victorian health service, in a unique opportunity to lead a talented and dedicated team. In this Full-Time role based in our Richmond hospital, you will manage Epworth HealthCare’s Prosthesis Supply Team, which is located across four sites.

As the Group Prosthesis Manager, you will ensure the steady supply of Prosthesis to each hospital, drive continuous improvement and facilitate the timely and accurate invoicing of Prosthesis to health funds.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing strong leadership to a talented and dedicated Prosthesis Supply Team.
  • Ensure the safe, efficient and steady supply of Prosthesis across the Group.
  • Ensuring adequate processes, governance and quality controls are in place to record stock usage and arrange timely replenishment of stock.
  • Assisting in the timely and accurate invoicing of Prosthesis to health funds.
  • Being actively involved in the negotiation of supply agreements and health fund contracts.
  • Developing strong working relationships with Prosthesis suppliers.
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including Theatre Staff, Procurement, Patient Revenue and the Health Fund Contracts Team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Procurement and Supply within the healthcare sector.
  • Experience working with Prosthesis.
  • Experience leading a team across multiple locations.
  • Flexibility for occasional travel between sites (parking is provided).
  • Experience working with a large financial system.
  • Experience with TechOne (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
