Job Description

In this full time Grade 2 Radiographer role, based in Box Hill, you will be responsible for providing high quality radiography care and patient experience in the Epworth Eastern Catheter Lab. You will perform a wide variety of cases in interventional cardiology, interventional vascular and interventional radiology.  You will be part of the Cath Lab team and report to the Cath Lab Manager. Those who are interetsed to work part time or casual can also apply.

  • Delivering an exceptional patient experience
  • Encouraging patient and family members participation in care plans
  • Collaborating with Consultants to ensure examination requirements are met
  • Working in a collaborative team environment

To be successful in this role…

You are passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes and consider yourself to be highly accountable. Working with an interdisciplinary team, you demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging communication style. You have an interest in hybrid perioperative operating environments and are keen to expand your experience and skill set as the service expands.

You will have

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated post graduate Cath Lab radiography experience
  • Contemporary knowledge of better practice in Cath Lab imaging
  • Demonstrate knowledge of legislation, registration and radiation safety including ALARA principle
