Job Description
Epworth Freemasons is seeking an experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our acute physiotherapy service working on the maternity ward in a part-time permanent role.
As the successful candidate you will be a competent clinician with experience working in pelvic health, in the acute inpatient setting.You will have a caring nature alongside relevant acute pelvic health physiotherapy experience and sound clinical reasoning. You keep up-to-date with best practice and have a passion for enhancing the patient experience through innovation.

You will make an impact by:
- Providing individually tailored best practice physiotherapy care to maternity and pelvic health patients
- Being a self-motivated clinician who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
- Integrating physiotherapy into the clinical care team on the inpatient maternity ward
- Collaborating with other health clinicians to develop and grow services based on best practice
- Demonstrating an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving
- Providing supervision to junior staff and students
- Demonstrating an excellent work ethic and a desire to do your best each day
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a physiotherapist
- Experience working in an acute setting managing maternity/pelvic health patients
- Proven ability to manage a busy clinical load
- A demonstrated commitment to relevant professional development
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Council
