Job Description
General Description: Responsible for operating and maintaining the plant process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Primary task - To operate and maintain process plant.
2. To properly operate all plant machinery and systems
3. To ensure all components of plant processing equipment are operating properly, to keep timely records of all plant processes as required
4. Maintain filtration system and all other necessary equipment
5. Clean screens, filtration systems, and machinery as necessary.
6. Ensure that all processes within the Plant are followed properly
7. Wash down complete plant floor and all other housekeeping as necessary.
8. Provide proper maintenance according to maintenance schedule and assist the maintenance personnel with equipment repairs.
9. Maintain diaphragm pumps.
10. Fill out shift report and maintenance schedule.
11. Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Level of education required: High school diploma or GED required.
Specific skills/experience needed: Should have a basic mechanical and electrical experience.
Must have a general knowledge of hand and power tools. Will also be required to operate heavy equipment such as a skid-loader. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Minimum 5 years work experience.
Proper safety equipment and clothing are required. (PPE) All safety equipment is provided by Harsco Minerals or is reimbursed up to a set amount
