Job Description
Core Purpose:
To deliver an effective Property Maintenance service to the UK retail estate ensuring that all shops in the Region (approx 400) are maintained to a high standard in order for them to operate in a safe environment.
Utilising the company CAFM system to manage and report on activity to ensure this remains in line with KPIs and Budget.
Salary: Up to 45k
H&S
Have the tacit knowledge of all prevailing building and H&S legislation maintaining up-to-date professional CPD records (at least 20 hours per annum).
Ensure all maintenance activity is carried out in a safe manner and compliant with all necessary H&S legislation (CDM, CAR etc,)
Financial
Managing and reporting on Capital budget and overseeing Opex budget covering all aspects of property maintenance.
Maintenance
- To be the critical link between our Contractor and our Retail Teams.
- Engage with teams across the property department and wider business to facilitate and promote an effective maintenance function
- Track and resolve escalated and outstanding maintenance issues to maximise business continuity across the estate, ensuring all appropriate stakeholders are aware of progress & resolution
- Direct contact with the relevant Entain Estates Manager to resolve Third Party issues
- Managing the Regional age profile of Open jobs to ensure all jobs over 21 days are appropriately mitigated.
- Ensure processes are in place for quotes to be submitted for review within 2 weeks
- Using defect diagnosis skills to identify re-occurring problems, and to instigate the necessary works to correct these in order for the shops to continue operating
- Organisation and implementation, from inception to completion of various capital works and major repairs
- Ensure quotes approved are planned, approved and completed in line with agreed budgets
- Utilise data and reportage from company CAFM system to drive performance and process improvements across the function
- Regular site visits and attendance to operational meetings
- Support on ah-hoc projects and audits
Qualifications
- Experienced in delivering a maintenance provision within a large multi-site organisation
- Ability to manage multiple contractors to deliver effective services
- Effective leadership and managerial skills across internal direct reports and external stakeholders to deliver effective results
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven ability to manage large capital and revenue P&Ls
- Extensive knowledge of relevant H&S legislation including CDM, CAR, HASWA, DDA etc
- Extensive experience of CAFM systems with working knowledge of Verisae in particular
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word & Excel
- Full driving licence with a willingness to travel and overnight
